VINTAGE FRONTIER

Where every piece of junk has endless possibilities!

Five Minute Friday Old Rake Wine Glass Storage.

Welp, I am back from Texas and doing some recovering. It was a whirlwind of a trip but was so much fun.

As you can probably tell this post is a little late…I am still a little behind from my travels. It is so hard to get back into the swing of life when you have been gone. I had great plans of showing you how I am going to use a few of my treasures from Antiques Week but alas there just wasn’t enough time (I blame it on the mounds of laundry that had to get done…The Hubs was out of clean undies).

But I did do a project the weekend before I left that I wanted show you.

Quick and easy storage for your wine glasses...and so much more.

Our bar cart has been far to cluttered for far to long (what can I say…we like to have a cocktail every now and again). So I was looking for a fun way to free up some space…Enter this great old rake head I found at the Antique store a few weeks ago.

This storage solution is so simple it is crazy. Simply mount the rake head with the tines at the bottom and hang extra wine glasses from the tines.

Keep Wine Glasses up and out of the way with an old rake...what could be simpler?

This little guy now holds two of my red wine glasses and my champagne glasses from my wedding. Other uses for these great old garden tools; jewelry, kitchen utensils, or pots and pan, coffee mugs, anything that you can hang can go on these guys.

If you find one that is mostly rust I would highly recommend giving it a good cleaning and adding a clear coat or some fresh spray paint.

This weekend is  here and it is finally feeling like fall in Colorado, I am so excited to break out my crock pot tomorrow and make these amazing French Dip Sami’s from 2 Cookin’ Mamas.
