VINTAGE FRONTIER

Where every piece of junk has endless possibilities!

Mason Jar Bathroom Orginizer

This project will only take you the time it takes to track down a great mason jar and a glass insulator.

What do you get when you combine a mason jar and a glass insulator? A great option for bathroom storage.

What is a glass insulator you might ask. Glass or ceramic insulators were made to attach to the top of telegraph and electricity poles to keep the wires from touching the wood poles (because that would result in a fire). Blue, green, and clear seem to be the more common colors (at least where I shop).

What do you get when you combine an antique mason jar and an insulator? Great Bathroom storage.

After finding this great square mason jar (I just love that it’s square!) I found an insulator that matched and fit in the mouth of the mason jar, it did have a small chip on it but I thought it gave it a little more character. The mason jar stores cotton balls and the insulator stores q-tips (The Hubs loves his q-tips).

Like I said this is a super quick way to add some vintage charm and some storage to your bathroom. Just writing this post makes me want to go antiquing and find some fun new stuff. Maybe I can squeeze some in…maybe not…Its the first game of the season for The Hubs and I’s Alma Mater, so we have a huge weekend of college football planned. What are y’all up to?
