Where every piece of junk has endless possibilities!
Are you looking for a fun way to fill up some wall space? Don’t want to shell out big bucks to do it? Don’t have hours or days to devote to a craft project?
This Yardstick Star, will cost you under $10 and take you less than 5 minutes!
Whenever I am at and antique store it seems there is always one booth that has an old ceramic crock filled to overflowing with yardsticks. They are usually less than a dollar. I love to see where some of these old yardsticks come from as they almost always have the name and location of a hardware store printed on them.
Simply take five yard sticks, lay them out in the shape of a star, use a staple gun to attach each point, and one at each of the points of the pentagon.
Hang with a ribbon or just a nail, then sit back and enjoy. Mine makes its home in my office.
It becomes a fun way to decorate for different seasons and Holidays. Wrap with fun burlap and fake yellow, red, and brown leaves in the fall, for Christmas add lights or garland, add silk flowers for the spring, the possibilities are endless.
